Qualifying Times
There are no qualifying times for this event, but you MUST be at least 21 years old to compete.

Cut-Off Times
The cut-off time is set for six hours after the last runner crosses the start line.
What is the timing system?
All registrants will be given, along with their race number, an electronic chip (in the form of strips stuck behind each number) which will be automatically initialized at the starting line and will serve as a race regularity control at various points along the course (every 5km and at the 21st km). A competitor who does not use the roadway won’t be classified at the finish.
Pace Setters
In each starting area, pacemakers will be present to help you achieve your goals. They will be easily identifiable, just like the leaders in a cabaret: they will be wearing large feathers in the colours of your airlock!
Aid Stations
Refreshment stations will be set up every 5 km.
You will find sweet and salty food. Bananas, gingerbread, nuts, sugar, pretzels, salty crackers… There will be something for every taste!
Weather Conditions
Average temperatures range between 10C to 17C (50F to 63F).
Hydration on race day in an eco-friendly way
You must bring your own hydration container (reusable cup, flask, or pack) as disposable bottles/cups are eliminated to reduce waste.
Can I wear headphones?
You can wear headphones. It is permitted to listen to music or podcasts during the race, but it is strongly recommended to keep the volume low enough to hear official instructions, surrounding runners, and emergency vehicles.
Are there any toilets?
No stress! Lots of toilets are at your disposal:
- Mixt toilet cabins and urinals (male and female) in the arrival – luggage lockers zone (Avenue Foch), available before and after the race.
- Mixt toilet cabins and urinals (male and female) on Place de l’Etoile, available before the race until you reach the start area.
- Urinals (male and female) in the start area. Careful! Those urinales are just to pee!
- Mixt toilet cabins on the racecourse, close to every food stations.
Where can I pick up my bib?
Receving your bib by post mail is not possible for this event and no bib will be given on race day.
You will have to come to the Run Experience Fair with the following documents:
Your ID (and that is ok if you’re not at your best on the picture!)
Your registration with the QR code (you will receive it by e-mail the week before the event and it will also be available on your registration confirmation or on your timeto account > « My events » > Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris 2024 > « QR Code »)
Your medical certificate printed (it must be dated less than a year prior the date of the race and have the wording «running in competition », « athletism in competition » or « sport in competition ») or your FFA license from 2023/2024, if you haven’t uploaded this document on timeto and validated by the organization team (must be uploaded until March 31th 2024 included).
Expo
The Run Experience Fair sets in the Parc des Expositions – Porte de Versailles, Paris, Hall 1.
Can I transfer my bib to another runner?
No registration transfer is possible, whatever the reason. The rules of the event state that “Any registration is personal, firm and definitive and cannot be refunded for any reason”, and “no transfer of registration is authorised for any reason whatsoever”.
Can I change my starting area?
If your target time has changed, you will be able to change your starting pen exceptionally at the bib collection.
We invite you to come at the stand CHANGEMENT DE SAS once you have collected your bib during the bib collection and provide a performance certificate* (less than 4 years old) for any starting pen requested.

PASSPORTS, VISAS & HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary documents, and only the destinations you intend to visit can provide the most current visa requirements. Contact the nearest embassy or consulate of your travel destinations for accurate information.
Many countries and territories require your passport to be valid for at least six months. Immigration authorities may deny entry if your passport has less than six months’ validity remaining.
Ensure you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations. Vaccinations may be recommended for certain locations. Consult your local doctor to receive the necessary vaccinations before your departure date.
