Anna Liptak, Director, of Adventure Time Travel, has always had a passion for fitness and travel. Anna has worked in the fitness industry for the past 15 years. Prior to establishing Adventure Time Travel, she had been the creator and Director of His and Her Time.
After completing her Graduate Diploma in Business Management, majoring in Marketing, Anna then went on to study an MBA at The University of Adelaide.
Following her studies, Augment Communications engaged her as Events Manager giving her responsibility for Augments corporate clients; clients which included Jacob’s Creek; Mitsubishi; Australian Federal and Local Governments, amongst others. She managed several significant projects, culminating in the major event: the official opening of the new Adelaide Airport.
 Whilst on maternity leave, taken immediately after the successful launch of the Adelaide Airport, Anna realised that her real interest and passion lay in the field of Health and Fitness. Enthused, she undertook the necessary courses and obtained registration as a Health and Fitness Instructor.
As an Instructor, Anna, working through her two enterprises, assisted many clients to find happiness and attain extra-ordinary goals. Anna has now served the fitness industry for over fifteen years, training many hundreds of individuals. Additionally, she has organised and accompanied many to world renowned events, such as marathons, adventure treks and similar; venues and events many had aspired to, but considered to be unattainable.
Anna is particularly proud of her success in engaging with clients who believed themselves to be “outsiders” to the notion of improving health and fitness; clients who considered themselves to be overweight, too old, depressed, self-conscious, cancer survivors, or had just never ever exercised. Not only has Anna engaged this group but has awakened in many a belief in ‘self’ and engendered a willingness to attain a healthy lifestyle. A very good example of this incredible transition is the significant number of this group training for, and running marathons, including The TCS New York Marathon.
The enthusiasm of this group prompted Anna to produce a comprehensive documentary: “I’m not a Runner”. This professionally produced documentary follows a group of trainees, aged 35 – 73, who had not exercised for years, some burdened with various ailments, preparing for and then actually running the TCS New York Marathon; a feat that each one of them could not have believed possible before meeting Anna. Each one faces the ordeal of challenging personal self-doubt, followed by the elation of overcoming this doubt on successfully completing such an unlikely goal. It becomes abundantly clear that the benefits of this extra ordinary achievement have far reaching benefits; it changes many aspects of everyone’s life style and self-image.

Anna, herself, has run over 25 marathons and 50 half marathons, including international marathons held in Boston; Paris; China; New York; New Zealand, as well as engaging in many outdoor activities.

Nick has been actively involved with Adventure Time Travel right from its inception as he has been married to its founder, Anna Liptak, since 2003. His responsibilities include the Business Development of Adventure Time Travel and he is actively involved in enhancing the ability of Adventure Time Travel to provide better and better service to their customers.
One of Nick’s primary roles as Business Development Manager is the overseeing, together with Anna Liptak, of Adventure Time Travel Premium Events.
Nick also runs his own successful business, Upstream Property.
In his spare time, Nick runs Marathons and he also spends a great deal of his free time “running” after their children Zach and Lachy, who ensure that keeping still is never an option. Most recently, Nick completed his 3rd overseas marathon, New York

Tanya Radovanovic

Administration Assistant

Tanya has worked in administration for over twenty years, and uses this extensive experience to keep the Adventure Time Travel office running smoothly. Her organisational skills to ensure all of our events go off without a hitch. She prides herself in providing exceptional customer service to our customers. Tanya is an avid traveller, and loves adventure. When not working, Tanya loves nothing more than being in the garden with her mini farm of animals.  

Mark Soderstrom

Mark ‘Soda’ Soderstrom is a Channel Seven Sport broadcaster and news presenter. He also hosts Adelaide’s number 1 FM radio breakfast show on Mix 102.3.

He caught the marathon bug watching his childhood idol Robert de Castella charge to a gold medal at the 1982 Commonwealth Games

Inspired by de Castella’s performance, at just 13 years old, Soda ran his first Melbourne Marathon and hasn’t stopped running since. He has completed marathons all over the world, including five in New York City.
